Aluminum core cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cable is a type of power transmission cable that uses aluminum as the conductor and cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) as the insulation material. It is widely used in transmission and distribution systems ranging from 0.6/1kV to 26/35kV. Aluminum core cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cables have excellent electrical insulation performance, heat resistance, and mechanical strength. At the same time, aluminum cores are lighter and more cost-effective than copper cores, making them a significant economic advantage in large-scale engineering projects. The conductor of aluminum core cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cable can operate at a temperature of up to 90 ℃ for a long time, and the maximum temperature during short circuit (up to 5 seconds) shall not exceed 250 ℃. Aluminum core cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cables can be divided into steel tape armor (YJLV22) and steel wire armor (YJLV32, YJLV42) according to the type of armor. Among them, steel tape armor is suitable for underground laying and can withstand mechanical external forces but cannot withstand high tensile forces; Steel wire armor is suitable for high drop areas and can withstand both mechanical external forces and considerable tensile forces. Aluminum core cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cables can also produce derivative series such as flame retardant (ZR -), waterproof (FS -), low smoke halogen-free (WD -) according to user requirements. In urban distribution networks, industrial plants, substations, tunnels, cable trenches and other scenarios, aluminum core cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cables have become the preferred solution for medium and low voltage power transmission due to their reliable electrical performance, flexible structural selection and economic cost
