10kV steel core aluminum cross-linked polyethylene insulated overhead cable is a special overhead cable designed specifically for AC rated voltage 10 (12) kV overhead power lines. The 10kV steel core aluminum cross-linked polyethylene insulated overhead cable uses steel core aluminum stranded wire as the conductor, which is composed of a composite of steel core and outer aluminum stranded wire layer. While maintaining good conductivity, the overall tensile strength of the cable is significantly improved with the help of the steel core, making it particularly suitable for long-distance overhead laying scenarios. The conductor of 10kV steel core aluminum cross-linked polyethylene insulated overhead cable is allowed to work at a temperature of up to 90 ℃ for a long time, and the maximum temperature during short circuit (up to 5 seconds) shall not exceed 250 ℃. The laying environment temperature shall not be lower than -20 ℃, and it can adapt to most outdoor climate conditions.
In terms of structural design, the typical specifications of 10kV steel core aluminum cross-linked polyethylene insulated overhead cables range from 10/2 mm ² to 500/65 mm ², covering various combinations of aluminum and steel structures such as 6 aluminum wires+1 steel wire, 12 aluminum wires+7 steel wires, 26 aluminum wires+7 steel wires, and 30 aluminum wires+7 steel wires. Users can flexibly choose according to their actual span length and mechanical load requirements. The insulation material adopts cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), with an internal shielding thickness of 1.0mm and a typical insulation thickness of 3.4mm, ensuring the electrical safety and weather resistance of the cable during long-term outdoor operation.
